Diversity at APRIL

Ever since it was founded, APRIL has upended insurance's traditional image by embracing difference – a guiding principle based on sharing that takes the form of strong, socially responsible commitments. Fighting any type of discrimination is a goal that motivates the Group to undertake a wide range of initiatives.

Measures on behalf of people with disabilities

On 1 April 2008, APRIL signed an agreement with AGEFIPH (Association for the Management of Funds for the Vocational Integration of Disabled People) in support of people with disabilities. In accordance with this agreement, renewed in 2010, APRIL commits to developing initiatives that promote the hiring of disabled people and educate its members about disabilities with the aim of changing attitudes. For its part, AGEFIPH pledges to fund a portion of APRIL's efforts.

APRIL currently employs 35 disabled people and conducts various training and awareness-raising sessions for employees as part of its "Different like everybody" programmes.
