A word from Bruno Vialard, APRIL's Human Resources Director

Bruno Vialard, APRIL's Human Resources Director

At APRIL, human capital drives the company, its strategy, success and brand image. Our 3,750 employees work on behalf of six million policyholders in 35 countries.

The shared goal of "Changing the image of insurance" and the common values of "simplicity, conviviality and imagination" guide our actions and shape our culture.

Even more than our dedication to clients, we are devoted to human values on a broader scale. As a socially responsible company, APRIL is committed to a policy that fosters diversity, promotes differences and combats all forms of discrimination. The Group demonstrated this commitment by signing an agreement with AGEFIPH and the "Corporate Diversity Charter". In APRIL's view, promoting equal opportunity and cultural diversity strengthens cohesion, overall performance and the corporate culture.

On this basis, the Human Resources Department seeks to maintain a diverse workforce and retain and enhance the skills of current staff while recruiting and hiring new employees.

The top priorities for the coming years are as follows:

  • strengthen front-line management; it's by bringing managers on board that we'll gain the most extensive buy-in,
  • redistribute the fruits of our growth through profit-sharing agreements systematically signed with all APRIL companies, which would give Group employees an active role in the company,
  • manage talented and "high-potential" in-house staff, whose distinctive skills are strategic for APRIL.
