On 28th April, having been in operation for a few months, the APRIL group officially opened the responsible cafeteria at its Lyon headquarters. For the occasion, APRIL's partners as well as Thérèse Rabatel, the Deputy Mayor of Lyon and Disability Policy Delegate, were there, at the cafeteria itself.
Bruno Rousset, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the group, as well as Thérèse Rabatel, each said a few words to praise the initiative, which shows that every business can offer work to people with disabilities. "From the very beginning, one of APRIL's priorities has always been to develop a people-centred business. That is why facilitating the employment of disabled people is an important commitment for the group. Having the Espace Sarrazin to run our catering facilities means supporting all this entrepreneurial and social vision," points out Bruno Rousset.
This ceremony, which ended with a cocktail prepared by the ESAT employees, offered an opportunity to make an initial assessment: for the last nine months the Espace Sarrazin has offered a quality catering service every day to all staff members with varied meals and 'home-made' dishes, made from fresh ingredients. Around one hundred meals are served every day to APRIL staff, who are all satisfied with the level of quality and the responsible approach taken by their company.
