2014, 40% of French people feel as individuals that they are the main contributors to the current social security deficit. This sense of responsibility has fallen in comparison to previous years (47% in 2013).
CHowever, over 75% of French people stated that they were prepared to make individual efforts to reduce this deficit, by limiting their consumption of medication (81%), by using generic drugs (80%) or by asking their pharmacist for advice in the event of minor illnesses (78%).
