APRIL opens its Apprentice Training Centre to train tomorrow's talent in customer relations

More than 250,000 people in France work in customer relations across all sectors of activity: it is a multidisciplinary, demanding profession that is becoming increasingly essential in pre- and post-sales customer service. The insurance sector is no exception and anticipates an increase in the number of customer relations managers over the next five years to support policyholders and distribution intermediaries. To enable as many people as possible to benefit from these professional opportunities, APRIL, through its University, has just opened its Apprentice Training Centre dedicated to customer relations, with an initial intake of 15 work-study students.

A tailor-made course to train for a promising career

Since 1 September, 15 apprentices, both novices and more experienced professionals undergoing retraining, have joined the APRIL University programme in partnership with One Business School. Over 13 months, the apprentices will prepare for a Professional Qualification Certificate in ‘Remote Customer Relations Advisor’, alternating between theoretical courses (e-learning, virtual classes) and immersion in the company via an apprenticeship programme in the various entities of the APRIL group in France.

A 45-hour module is specifically dedicated to the insurance sector, providing added value for learners in developing distinctive professional expertise.

“This Apprentice Training Centre is a means of promoting the customer relations profession, which is at the heart of the value proposition that APRIL offers its partners and policyholders. Our goal is to recruit new talent, train them and get them up and running in an increasingly competitive and regulated sector, working to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. The Apprentice Training Center also reflects our commitment to supporting young people, recognising the difficulties they face in finding their first job.” Véronique Galdin, Director of HR Development and APRIL University.

Apprentices benefit from a dedicated integration programme, including an integration seminar and access to specific resources, such as the APRIL Foundation’s health prevention and promotion tools.

Qualiopi-certified, the APRIL University Apprentice Training Centre will welcome new cohorts from September 2026.
