“Opening up new possibilities for all our employees, wherever they are”
28 October 2026
More than 3,300 employees across 25 countries, three days of networking and discovery, and around 40 experts involved: APRIL Connect Days reached a new milestone in 2026 with its first fully digital, international edition. The event offered an opportunity to learn more about the roles, career paths and professional opportunities available within the Group. Véronique Galdin discusses the ambitions behind the event and how it supports internal mobility and talent development.
APRIL Connect Days has just held its first fully digital, international edition. How would you assess this new format?
For the first time, we offered all our employees, wherever they are in the world, a shared experience focused on discovering roles and career opportunities within the Group.
Over three days, participants could explore an immersive virtual exhibition, attend talks led by our senior leaders, discover the day-to-day work of colleagues in different roles, and discuss internal mobility, recruitment and diversity.
With several hundred connections each day, the initial results are very positive. Beyond the format and participation levels, what made this edition particularly meaningful was the opportunity to build bridges between our roles, entities and locations.
Beyond the event itself, what does the APRIL Connect programme aim to achieve for employees?
APRIL Connect was launched in 2024 with a simple belief: the breadth and diversity of our roles offer tremendous opportunities for our employees, provided we give them the means to discover them.
There is no single career path at APRIL. Our Group brings together a wide range of activities, areas of expertise and working environments, offering many ways to learn, develop skills and grow professionally.
Our ambition is to make these opportunities more visible and accessible. This is what APRIL Connect is all about: encouraging everyone to take ownership of their career, supporting internal mobility and strengthening our employees’ employability. It is also a way to help everyone get to know our Group better so they can become ambassadors for APRIL, particularly through recruitment and employee referrals.
How can we go further in making internal mobility and skills development part of everyday life within the Group?
Career mobility often starts with a meeting, a discovery or a conversation that sparks the desire to explore a new direction. Our role is to create more of these opportunities and help everyone see themselves in roles they might not otherwise have considered.
This means building a better understanding of our roles, alongside a culture that encourages curiosity, learning and exchanges between teams. Managers also have a vital role to play in supporting these aspirations and encouraging career moves across functions.
With APRIL Connect, we want to sustain this momentum over time. Connect Days is a highlight of the programme, alongside the many webinars and opportunities to meet colleagues organised throughout the year. Our ambition is to make internal mobility, skills development and employee referrals tangible drivers of fulfilment for our employees and growth for APRIL.
